Travelling to Dürnstein and Loiben

By car
From Salzburg or Linz: Take the A1 autobahn to Melk (exit "Wachau"). Proceed from there downstream along the Danube on federal highway B3 just 30 km (18 miles) to Dürnstein.
From northern Vienna: Take the A22 autobahn to Tulln, then te expressway (S5) to Krems, and from there the federal highway B3 another 7 km (4,2 miles) to Dürnstein.
From western Vienna: Take the A1 autobahn to the "St. Pölten Ost" exit, then the S33 expressway to Krems and finally the remaining, most beautiful stretch to Dürnstein on the B3.
